Turnham Green Terrace + Luminis Beauty Salon

Ten Forward Studios
Budget: $1,800,000
Location: London
The toughest project of 2017 was an end of rerrace project at 12, Turnham Green Terrace, London. We were commissioned by a small family trust to demolish a two-storey building and re-build it with a three-storey replica of the terrace façade. This job was perhaps the most daunting I have ever faced and that is purely because of little I knew about running a project of that size in the UK at the time. My father and I worked tirelessly on this job, and I now look back it as a great learning curve. We also took on a two-storey fit out for a beauty salon within the same job. During that time, I learnt more than I can possibly relay here, but the standouts would be Heritage detailing; intricate planning law; how to think-out-the-box to solve complex architectural problems; contract administration; how to record everything in writing; and most importantly how to be a professional until the end. Please see just a few of the several hundred drawings I did on this project below.
